Founded in 2014, A15 is an early-stage venture capital firm. We back daring founders in the Middle East and North Africa region early in their journey to build the future. We identify winners early, and once partnered up, we double down, and it’s all hands on deck throughout every stage of the journey, from entry to exit and everything in between. We know what it is like to be in the founders shoes. Our team has years of experience building, scaling and selling businesses across various industries. We bring this experience into play in all that we do to support the founders and back their vision.

Techstars helps founders scale their startups into world-changing businesses. Founded in 2006, Techstars is on a mission to invest in startups to enable more capital to flow to more entrepreneurs around the world in order to deliver exceptional returns to our investors. We do this by operating accelerator programs and venture capital funds, as well as by connecting startups, investors, corporations, and cities to help build thriving startup communities. Our results show why Techstars is Better for Founders than any other global accelerator: On average, 74.5% of Techstars companies will raise money within 3 years of their program; 18.5% of Techstars portfolio companies have exited 5 years after their program and 31.1% after eight years. This Techstars program focuses on exceptional entrepreneurs across all areas of fintech. Why ABN AMRO? Why Techstars? ABN AMRO is extremely committed to disruptive innovation and fintech, and is already running a €100m venture fund to invest in the sector. The accelerator’s proximity to ABN AMRO’s headquarters in Amsterdam will provide founders access to industry experts, technologists, data scientists and business sponsors across the bank that can offer startups highly personalized feedback and business development opportunities internally and across its vast client network.
