AIFI – Italian Private Equity, Venture Capital and Private Debt Association was founded in May 1986 and is internationally recognised for its activity of institutionally representing and promoting the private equity, venture capital and private debt activity in Italy. AIFI associates and represents financial institutions that professionally invest in companies and has developed a significant network of institutions, investors and professionals. In particular, the objectives AIFI wants to pursue are the following: - supporting and facilitating the development of private equity, venture capital and private debt activity in Italy and abroad; - working with institutional bodies to improve the legal environment of the private capital investment activity; - increasing awareness and understanding, within the Italian context, of the asset classes it represents; - supporting the constitution of qualified managerial groups both in associated companies and connected firms; - collecting and presenting information about the industry; - acting as interface and link to Italian and international financial players; - creating a network between research centres, incubators, accelerators, universities and venture capitalists, in order to promote successful entrepreneurial ideas; - maintaining ethical and professional standards in the private equity, venture capital and private debt industry.

Fondo Italiano dInvestimento SGR è la realtà pensata per supportare la crescita e linternazionalizzazione delle piccole e medie imprese italiane, con particolare attenzione alla tecnologia, all’innovazione e alla sostenibilità. Costituita nel 2010 su iniziativa del Ministero dell’Economia e delle Finanze, di alcune banche sponsor e associazioni di categoria, è oggi partecipata da CDP Equity, Intesa Sanpaolo, UniCredit, ABI, Fondazione Enpam, Fondazione Enpaia, Banco BPM e BPER Banca. Fondo Italiano ha come principale obiettivo la gestione di fondi mobiliari chiusi finalizzati a far confluire capitali pazienti verso il sistema delle imprese italiane deccellenza, coniugando finalità di ritorno sul capitale investito, in linea con i benchmark internazionali, con quelle di sviluppo del sistema produttivo italiano. Ad oggi, la SGR gestisce dieci fondi di investimento mobiliari chiusi riservati ad investitori qualificati, per un totale di asset under management target pari ad oltre 3,5 miliardi di euro e opera sia attraverso investimenti diretti, sia investimenti indiretti (fondo di fondi). Fondo Italiano considera la sostenibilità un valore fondamentale ed è impegnata ad integrare i criteri ambientali, sociali e di governance (ESG) nelle proprie attività dinvestimento.
