SSP er arbeidslivets nasjonale kompetansesenter. SSP arbeider med stimulering og utvikling av god seniorpolitikk i arbeidslivet. Seniorpolitikk er en naturlig del av en virksomhets personalpolitikk. SSP koordinerer og bidrar til samarbeid om seniorpolitiske spørsmål med myndigheter, partene i arbeidslivet, virksomheter og personalfaglige organisasjoner.
