Established in 2012, we’re on a mission to make homes remarkable through distinctive design, beautiful craft and fair prices.
Swoon is an advocate for people who believe that home is a sanctuary and has the power to physically affect our health and happiness. Our customers are stylish and savvy professionals who are time-poor but thought-rich; they demand the best out of life.
We call them Hip & Humble, the obsessive creators of homes that constantly evolve with ideas that are as unique as their owners.
Swoon’s business model helps to fulfil the interior desires of the Hip & Humble. Our Fast & Responsive Design Process enables us to launch new designs, initially in a small batch. And our direct-to-consumer brand, without the traditional retail overheads, ensures our designs are not only distinctive but affordable too. We use real-time sales data to test demand very quickly and then scale production on only the most popular pieces.

One product.🤳 17 years. 📆 250+ employees. 🧑💻Over 200,000 users. 💥There’s so much to say about it all. But here’s the version that fits the character limit.
We’re FreeAgent. 👋 We make award-winning accounting software and provide superstar support for small businesses and their accountants and bookkeepers. We’re a friendly bunch with a single goal bringing us all together: making users happier and more successful by putting them in control of their finances.
But how did we get here? 🤔 You might remember 2007 as the year the first iPhone, Kindle and Fitbit debuted. It was also the year FreeAgent was launched.💡 Founders Ed, Olly and Roan had all been working as freelance designers or developers for a while. They created FreeAgent out of the frustration that doing the books was just too damn difficult for most of us. So they put their heads together and decided that there must be a better way to deal with their mounting piles of invoices, spreadsheets and receipts.
Since our first hire back in 2008, we’ve also worked hard to make FreeAgent a ✨great✨ place to work. We’ve grown to over 250 employees and we continue to build a diverse, high-performing, happy and collaborative team.
In early 2018, the company was acquired by the NatWest Group. Our growth has been given a turbo boost, yet we remain operationally independent of the group. 🚀
Today, FreeAgent helps over 150,000 users take care of their finances - from the daily admin to big-picture planning - and do it all happily and successfully. Just like Ed, Olly and Roan set out to do all those years ago. 💙

The Fizzback SaaS offering is a real-time operational VoC solution. It sends consumers requests for feedback relating to a specific interaction or transaction via mobile, web or social media. The consumer is engaged at the point of experience, for example in the contact center, branch, point of sale (POS), mobile application, or web. The feedback is analyzed by the system to determine a relevant response, and automatically conduct a dialog with the consumer in natural language rather than in survey format.
Fizzback’s unique approach generates game-changing response rates of up to 50%, significantly higher than industry norms at under 10%, as it motivates consumers to provide relevant feedback, at the moment of interaction. Additionally, consumers provide feedback about their experience rather than only about what was asked in a survey. With more than 150 million feedbacks collected annually, Fizzback enables organizations to better understand their customers’ perceptions, and be agile across the organization, while improving customer experience at the various enterprise touch points.
The combination of Fizzback and NICE will both improve CEM as well as operationalize VoC both for the contact center and across the enterprise. Correlating customer feedback to specific interactions or transactions helps improve performance enterprise-wide with statistically validated responses, as well as enhance quality management and processes. Key efficiency metrics that can be significantly improved include First Contact Resolution (FCR) and Average Handle Time (AHT) in the contact center and employee performance in direct customer facing roles.
Capturing, analyzing and acting on the Voice of the Customer (VoC) is critical to the success of any Customer Experience initiative. NICE’s cross-channel analytics solutions support VoC programs by: (1) analyzing customer interaction content (indirect feedback), whether the customer is interacting with the organization or talking about the organization through the contact center, social media, or other channels, and by extracting insights from these interactions; and (2) by analyzing customer behavior (inferred feedback), such as transaction and web browsing patterns or their journey along different touch points. By adding direct customer feedback with the Fizzback solution, NICE now provides a complete CEM solution that delivers a holistic understanding of the customer by combining on one platform the VoC from each of the three feedback dimensions: direct, indirect and inferred.

Index Ventures partners with exceptional entrepreneurs – those with unique insight who are intrinsically driven to make their vision a reality. We help them turn their bold ideas into global businesses, and through the companies they build, have a long-lasting and positive impact on the world around us.
Index-backed businesses are supported by an experienced team of investors, strategists, and an extensive global network built over three decades of startup investing. Working side-by-side through the scale up journey, we forge deep and long-lasting relationships with founders and their teams. The vast majority of these partnerships begin early in the company’s life, at Seed and Series A, and extend to IPO and beyond.
Operating as one team, with feet firmly on both sides of the Atlantic – from London to Tel Aviv, and San Francisco to New York – we are an international team with a global mindset, with experience supporting founders wherever they emerge. When they succeed, they generate returns that in turn support Index’s investors, including non-profit foundations; education, healthcare and research endowments; and other impact-driven organizations.
