First Generation Investors (FGI) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that teaches high school students the power of investing and brings classroom lessons to life by providing students real money to invest. Our mission is to provide all young adults the knowledge and skills to thrive in the investment economy.

Founded by Zhen Zhang, Xiang Gao, and Bin Yue in January 2014, Gaorong Capital is focused on early and growth-stage investments, with a specialty in new technology, new consumption and healthcare. We have 23 IPO portfolios and over 30 projects valued more than USD 1 billion, amongst which, many of them have advanced to be leaders in their perspective industries.

Duke Investment Club is the premier undergraduate finance organization at Duke University. Since 2011, Duke Investment Club has managed an equity portfolio consisting of a portion of the University’s endowment. As the hallmark of the club’s education initiatives, Investor Training Program (ITP) instills fundamental finance concepts in students interested in the field, bridging the gap between the University’s classroom offerings and Wall Street. Duke Investment Club is proud of its member placements, with alumni at firms of all sizes and practice areas.
