The Posner Center for International Development brings together these social impact organizations to spur innovation by enabling groups to cross-pollinate through the exchange of ideas, the overlap of programming, and the generation of more comprehensive and lasting solutions to global poverty.

The Mile High WorkShop in Denver, Colorado is an employment and job training program for those facing barriers to work through the manufacturing and production of handmade goods.
The Denver-based WorkShop provides contract manufacturing services in order to employ men and women rebuilding from homelessness, addictions, and incarceration.

YouthBiz provides education and mentorships that exposes students to entrepreneurship, business literacy, and their potential impact on the world.
Through the Entrepreneurial Experience, students will get hands-on experience in what it takes to start their own business. From concept and start-up all the way through production and distribution, graduates will be fully prepared to step out and know what it takes to own a business.

The University of Delaware - a state assisted, privately chartered institution - is a Land Grant, Sea Grant, Space Grant and Carnegie Research University (very high research activity). The University, with origins in 1743, was chartered by the State of Delaware in 1833. A Womens College was opened in 1914, and in 1945 UD became permanently coeducational. The main campus is located in Newark, Delaware, a suburban community of nearly 30,000, situated midway between Philadelphia and Baltimore. Courses are also offered at the Wilmington campus and at other locations throughout the State, including Dover, Georgetown, Milford, and Lewes.

Founded in 2006, Techstars is on a mission to invest in startups to enable more capital to flow to more entrepreneurs around the world in order to deliver exceptional returns to our investors. We do this by operating accelerator programs and venture capital funds, as well as by connecting startups, investors, corporations, and cities to help build thriving startup communities.
Our results show why Techstars is Better for Founders than any other global accelerator: On average, 74.5% of Techstars companies will raise money within 3 years of their program; 18.5% of Techstars portfolio companies have exited 5 years after their program and 31.1% after eight years.
