PRISM Analytics provides simulation-based analysis and strategic insight to business decision makers across the spectrum of important competitive trade and investment landscapes. Leveraging 40+ yrs of combined experience, PRISM provides modeling and analysis expertise in: - Commodity market analysis and global trade forecasts, for many merchant and specialty commodities; - Next-investment decision analysis that supports scenario planning and risk management; - Operational efficiency analysis at the plant and supply chain levels; - Resilience analysis to support business continuity planning; PRISM draws on decades of experience at the U.S. national laboratories, working on the forefront of scientific and engineering solutions to some of the world's most difficult economic and global supply and demand complexities. Insights from this work have significantly influenced U.S. policy in the areas of disaster recovery, risk and resilience analysis, business continuity, and supply chain management. This work has resulted in next-generation PRISM simulation algorithms that generate innovative new insights and dynamic trends at the enterprise, supply chain, and international market scale. PRISM's does this by using its flexible library of simulation components and advanced algorithms that model each of the following: ENTERPRISE MODELING: How firms operate using capital, resources, and processes; SINGLE-FIRM SUPPLY CHAINS: How firms use their supplier and buyer markets to efficiently and tactically manage operational and strategic changes in their operations; MULI-FIRM SUPPLY CHAINS: How collections of vertically and horizontally integrated firms operate and compete; INFRASTRUCTURE MODELS (e.g. Transportation): How different modes/conditions for infrastructure impact the market competitiveness and profitability of firms; and GLOBAL COMMODITY MARKET MODELS: How global conditions affect firms' competitiveness, profitability, and resilience.
