End Community Violence Now (ECVN) is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit and public-private partnership that operates like a statewide community-based Office of Violence Prevention, working towards community violence reduction. Its mission is to grow a unified gun violence reduction ecosystem that breaks the cycle of violence and fosters safe communities in Delaware. In support of that mission, ECVN will coordinate investments, programs, initiatives, and actions, and align stakeholders with shared accountability of Delaware’s community violence reduction ecosystem, seeking to ensure that community violence intervention (CVI) action across the state is organized, synchronized, and sustainably funded for the long-term.
End Community Violence Now will also work closely with advocacy groups who work to prevent gun violence on the national level, influence policy in Delaware and nationwide, and inform Delawareans about the best practices in the intervention and prevention of community gun violence.

At Rarebreed we invest in companies primarily outside of the major tech hubs of SF, NY, and MA. We invest in 2 types of companies. Those building a software product with a unique or clearly repeatable customer acquisition strategy or building a physical product in a vertical that has lacked innovation in 10+ years. This is because these two founders are out-of-the-box thinkers and problem solvers.

OUR VISION: Wilmington will be a thriving community that offers opportunities and access to all.
OUR VALUES:
Equity: Our work is guided by the belief that social and economic well-being occurs when traditionally underserved individuals and communities both drive and share in the benefits of economic growth.
Results-Oriented: Our programs and initiatives produce demonstrable outcomes that directly and indirectly improve the quality of life for Wilmington’s residents and businesses.
Inclusion: We recognize, value and embrace the diversity that is found in our community. This includes diversity of thought and experience as well as diversity along race, age, cultural representations, gender identity, sexual orientation and physical ability.
Collaboration: We seek to build bridges and create inclusive solutions in our shared commitment to the City of Wilmington and its residents. We do this by listening, engaging and partnering with the community. We are stronger together as we share expertise, resources and networks.
