Before joining Intrinsic, Akasha Imaging was a Silicon Valley MIT spinoff, founded on a breakthrough sensing technology using polarized light. Using advances in imaging and deep learning, Akasha built computer vision systems that could robustly handle all types of materials in any environment with unmatched accuracy – enabling robots to see better. Akasha’s seed round was led by Vinod Khosla and Khosla Ventures.
