This is the world’s first movement to address the Digital Divide- Digital Health Sans Borders & Geneva Declaration of Responsibility . Launched on 19th May 2025 at Campus Biotech in Geneva. With a vision ‘If you have access to the internet, you should have access to healthcare’. This movement brought together global leaders, innovators, and policymakers to deliberate on the future of Digital Health. Organized as a recognized side event of the 78th World Health Assembly, and hosted by Health Parliament and Academy of Digital Health Sciences in collaboration with the Geneva Digital Health Hub & GIDH, the event served as a platform to explore how digital technologies can break barriers, enhance health equity, and strengthen healthcare systems across borders. The discussions focused on the theme “Digital Health for Life”, emphasizing the need for responsible innovation, ethical data governance, and cross-border collaboration to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-Being. Participants contributed valuable perspectives on integrating Digital Health into national policies, fostering global partnerships, and ensuring that technological advancements translate into real-world health benefits. This report from this launch captures the key takeaways, insights, and action points from the event, offering a comprehensive overview of the collective vision shared by the stakeholders. It stands as a roadmap for advancing Digital Health initiatives worldwide and reflects the shared commitment to shaping a future where technology serves humanity’s health without borders. Accessibility, affordability, and quality of healthcare are serious challenges, and theyre being driven by suppliers, regulators, policy-makers and physicians. The patients, who are directly affected by this, have no say in the discourse. Doctors are organised, industry is organised, but no one has ever thought of uniting/organizing the patients. To fill these gaps, the International Patients Union was formed. The International Patients’ Union will help in connecting patients across the country to top doctors, policy-makers, regulators, industry leaders, and other fellow patients. This will give them a platform to voice their opinions, contribute to policy formulation, and learn from each other how to better manage their disease conditions, aside from gaining authentic information on diseases and treatments.

India has 25 years to leverage the demographic dividend. So, we must put all the resources to ensure that India becomes a developed nation by 2047, when it celebrates 100 years of independence.

People have great ideas, but they lack a platform to take them forward. Many industry bodies masquerade as think-thanks but they are actually lobby houses working for a select group of corporates rather than representing the real stakeholders and right issues for healthcare transformation. These forums profess to impact policies, but they have not been able to impact enough to make healthcare accessible, affordable, and of acceptable quality. COVID-19 has bared the reality of the healthcare system, and its a call to action for all of us to galvanise our efforts for transforming healthcare without any further delay. This led to the decision to establish this think tank – Health Parliament. Here at Health Parliament, we are doing work which is about ground level impact, brainstorming, gap analysis, ideation, strategy and policy papers, and mentoring to create an accountable healthcare system. We continuously engage with leaders across the public and private sectors and keep sharing our inputs with policymakers on a regular basis. We undertake primary and secondary research, and most importantly, we have developed our proprietary leadership development model for healthcare sector. We aim to engage, impact and improve healthcare. In the next 5-10 years, we will create key influencers across the continuum of care. Health Parliament has been founded by a top industry honcho with over 25 years of experience across the globe in healthcare, and has worked with the leading organizations including the Internet Governance Forum (United Nations), World Health Organization (WHO), World Economic Forum (WEF), and is the former Advisor to the Health Minister of India. He has written extensively on healthcare and is the countrys most sought-after policymaker. If you are interested in healthcare transformation, Public Policy (Health), Public Health and aspire to be an influencer, come join Health Parliament.
