Chestnut Street Ventures is an Alumni Ventures venture capital fund for alumni of Penn that invests in companies with a Penn connection. Future VC was established to support talented individuals from backgrounds that are currently under-represented in venture capital, to help them learn about and work in VC, and in doing so improve the inclusiveness of the industry. We provide an eight-week, paid internship with leading Venture Capital funds in Europe and the US. Participants gain the key skills and practical experience necessary to kickstart their careers in VC, including deep-dive masterclasses from worldwide industry experts.

Venture Foragers maps the most exciting new startups in emerging spaces. Founded at Wharton, Venture Foragers is a student-run organization enabling MBA students to identify the most promising disruptors in the context of their complete competitive landscape, and present comprehensive industry reports to top VC firms. Our student foragers develop their evaluation criteria through close relationships with SMEs, identify key players in their chosen sector, and vet these companies through the initial of diligence to deliver best-in-class industry reports. . Students, Venture Capitalists and Startups all gain from this process.
