Gen[in] brings together some of the best in Queensland’s start up community to create the next generation of entrepreneurs. The gen[in] student innovation challenge will help students build real world skills, make lifelong connections and give you them the chance to win a share of a $15,000 prize pool. Gen[in] is part of the Shaping Queenslands Entrepreneurs funded under the IET Partnership Fund to promote Queensland’s international education and training (IET) industry. Our consortium is led by the University of Queensland and comprises of Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology, Bond University, Australian Catholic University, the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Education, Sarina Russo Group, Independent Schools Queensland, Training International (DETi), Lutheran Education Queensland, Be Social. Be Smart., Alphacrane Intercultural Specialists, Little Tokyo Two, Car Advice Pty Ltd, Holden Capital Pty Ltd and Indooroopilly State High School. By bringing these members of the start-up community together, Gen[in] will develop the skills and capabilities of Queensland and International students (aged 14-24) so they can be future wealth creators and social capital innovators.
