Quantafuel is a technology-based energy company converting waste plastics back into low-carbon synthetic oil products replacing virgin oil products. The Environmental Services Association (ESA) is working to transform waste and resource management in the UK. Our work with Governments and regulators helps enable our members to turn Britain’s waste into valuable resources whilst protecting the environment. We are helping to raise standards across the sector to ensure that the environment and the public are protected. We work with members to make the industry a safe, more efficient and environmentally friendly place to be, as well as helping to deliver a long-term zero-waste, zero-carbon future, ESA practises what it preaches: in the three decades since 1990, the sector’s greenhouse gas emissions have come down 85%, a record few other industries can match. Given the right policy platform, the industry is ready to invest £10 billion in new recycling and recovery infrastructure, create 50,000 jobs and deliver more than 40 million tonnes of CO2 savings by 2030.
