X-Pressure est dispositif médical innovant pour la mesure automatique et instantanée de la pression du liquide cérébro-spinal (LCS). La mesure de pression du LCS est historiquement réalisée par l’étude de la colonne deau au bout d’une aiguille de ponction lombaire (PL). Cette mesure est longue, imprécise et ne permet pas de détecter d’éventuelles anomalies. Or, une pression anormale peut avoir des conséquences graves pour le cerveau. X-Pressure développe un nouveau dispositif médical simple et précis pour mesurer la pression du LCS au lit du patient. Grâce à un système simple et connecté, le médecin peut mesurer la pression au chevet du patient et poser un diagnostic rapidement grâce à la détection automatique des anomalies utilisant lintelligence artificielle. Notre mission est de permettre une meilleure prise en charge des maladies liées à une pression intracrânienne anormale ou à un trouble de la circulation du LCS, en particulier l’hydrocéphalie responsable de la perte dautonomie chez les personnes âgées. --- X-Pressure is an innovative medical device for automatic and instantaneous measurement of crebrospinal fluid (CSF). The measurement of CSF pressure has historically been carried out by studying the water column manometer at the end of a lumbar puncture (LP) needle. This measurement is long, imprecise and unable to detect any anomalies. However, an abnormal CSF pressure can have serious consequences for the brain. X-Pressure is developing a new easy and precise medical device for measuring CSF pressure at the bedside allowing a quick diagnose thanks to an automatic detection system of abnormalities using artificial intelligence. Our mission is to allow better management of diseases where ICP or CSF dynamics are abnormal, in particular hydrocephalus responsible for the loss of autonomy in the elderly.
