NYC must have a forum in the marketplace of ideas to secure a successful legalized adult-use cannabis program. This requires participation and input from the different stakeholders in NYC to comprehensively and effectively communicate the needs and priorities of the market to all levels of government. The more industry can regulate itself, the less it needs to be regulated by others.
NYC Cannabis Industry Association will:
Formulate rules to maximize the autonomy of the participants in New York City’s cannabis economy
Prioritize public health and safety
Optimize the benefits that the people of the City receive from the operation of the City’s cannabis market.
