Stanford Angels and Entrepreneurs is an official club under the Stanford Alumni Association. We seek to strengthen Stanford’s startup community by fostering relationships among entrepreneurs and alumni investors. Our community approach to the investment process creates diverse opportunities for education, professional development, advising / mentoring, and growing one’s business and investment portfolio. SA&E has helped fund over 20 startups to date, greatly impacting the Silicon Valley landscape.

Santa Clara Universitys School of Engineering is located at the heart of Silicon Valley surrounded by many of the worlds most influential high-tech companies. Guided by Jesuit, Catholic values of Competence, Conscience, and Compassion, our mission is to fuel engineering students​ intellectual curiosity in support of building a more just, humane, and sustainable world. With 8 undergraduate, 10 masters, and 3 Ph.D. degree programs, engineering students with a passionate drive for innovation and research thrive at the school. In the classroom and beyond, our courses, interdisciplinary projects, competitions, and local connections provide a myriad of opportunities for students to tackle real issues that they will face after graduation. SCU Engineering Graduates put into action their technical expertise as well as business and social skills, empathy, and the ethical discernment gained from experiences in a multitude of disciplines and design thinking. Students leave with the knowledge and skillsets to become conscientious leaders and trailblazing problem solvers in their communities and the rest of the world.

Parnell Engineering & Consulting (PEC) is a Mechanical Engineering consultancy in the heart of Silicon Valley! PEC provides Expert Witness Services for litigation in patents, product failure, product liability, and personal injury. We work with many early-stage medical device and biotechnology companies to enhance their product design, development & efficiency.PEC also has broad consulting and litigation experience in many areas including patents, intellectual property, consumer electronics, computer systems, MEMs, semiconductors, automotive, heavy-truck, chemical/process plant, energy, and other industries. Deep experience as an expert witeness in patents and IP across many industries; also an expert in product liability, failure analysis, and forensic engineering issues. Patent expert work includes trial, depositions, reports, and IPR declarations. PEC can determine “What Happened??”!
