Meridiem Games is an independent project working on the distribution and production of videogames in all platforms. All the members at Meridiem Games are players, that is why we are looking to satisfy the final client, the player, yourself. That is why we bring to you all kind of games, from Triple A where you must prove yourself with the pad of your console or Indie projects where just enjoy the beautiful scenery, marvelous soundtracks or just new concepts that other could not see. We are a Spanish startup with the strong conviction that we can provide an innovative and disruptive solution that solves current needs in terms of monitoring the quality of surface water. Currently, to know the physicochemical and biological parameters of water, two types of methods are used (mainly), either by taking a manual sample of the water and analyzing it in a laboratory, or using multiparametric probes or specific sensors that allow each parameter to be individually determined. Both are intrusive methods that require direct contact with water and have high costs, both in maintenance, as in equipment and calibration. We are willing to change the rules of the game and we have given current technology a twist; combining Internet of Things, Computer Vision and Spectroscopy, we offer a Deep Tech solution that allows efficiently and effectively, the continuous monitoring of the parameters that mark the first level of water quality, through its exterior images. It is a unique and novel platform for the remote monitoring in real time and non-intrusive of the state of the water, and its physicochemical and biological parameters (Color, Turbidity, Conductivity, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Solids in Suspension, COD, BOD, Carbon or Ammonium). Our vision is to democratize water monitoring, offering a cost-efficient measurement and maintenance tool, easy to use and easy to maintain, allowing real-time measurements and a greater number of control points. We want to help in the sustainability of river and maritime ecosystems by improving water quality.

MedicSen es una startup fundada por jóvenes españoles con el objetivo de lanzar un tratamiento que cambie para siempre la forma de lidiar con la diabetes. Han creado una aplicación capaz de integrar la información de los medidores continuos de glucosa con otros parámetros, introducidos por el usuario o recogidos por dispositivos inteligentes, para ofrecerle un registro de sus valores glucémicos y dar una predicción fiable de valores futuros, gracias a un innovador algoritmo de aprendizaje que se comunica con el usuario a través de una interfaz tipo chat-bot. Esta previsión proporcionará mayor tranquilidad a los pacientes, que podrán llevar a cabo sus tareas cotidianas sin las preocupaciones habituales. Ahora han lanzado el reto #1000xladiabetes con el objetivo de impulsar la descarga de la App para conseguir el apoyo de 1000 pacientes que se sumen al proyecto. Serán los primeros en recibir el acceso gratuito a este sistema y contribuirán a mejorar el software y la interfaz. Por otro lado, están desarrollando un Smart-patch para la administración de insulina sin agujas, que tomará información de la App para personalizar el tratamiento automáticamente en función de las necesidades del paciente, y ya tienen el primer prototipo viable. El equipo desarrolla su actividad en diferentes espacios, que comparten con otras startups tanto nacionales como internacionales, logrando gran eficiencia en un entorno de trabajo colaborativo. Paralelamente están presentes en varios foros de emprendimiento como el Mobile World Congress o el congreso nacional de e-salud, en los que tratan de establecer marcos de colaboración con empresas farmacéuticas y hospitales para potenciar el desarrollo. El prototipo del Smart-patch se ha desarrollado por completo en el seno de la empresa, siendo esta titular de la propiedad intelectual, y se comenzarán los test de seguridad al final de la ronda de financiación de 250.000€ que se completará a lo largo de Abril de 2017.
