CauliBox is a UK-based climate tech dedicated to tackling the global single-use packaging epidemic. We help food businesses source and track reusable packaging, starting with the foodservice industry. The problem? One-third of global waste is packaging. 86% of food and drink packaging ends up in landfills or our ecosystem due to contamination and a lack of composting infrastructure. Food businesses are under regulatory, public and inflationary pressure to reduce single-use packaging. The Solution? Reuse can reduce waste and CO2 emissions by up to 92% compared to single-use alternatives. But reusable packaging has to be tracked and returned to fully reap the environmental benefits. Cauli enables food businesses to implement reuse systems with our packaging supply chain and tracking technologies including QR-scanning software on mobile app or payment card, completed with edge AI-powered reverse collection.
