⛰ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲. The machinery industry continues to struggle with the current economic instability. One possible solution for machine manufacturers is to focus on the service business model. Unfortunately, the potential is often overlooked. - Service is crisis-proof - Service can be planned - Service is high-margin (50-70% compared to 0-10% from machine sales) And as the saying goes: Service sells the second machine! For your customers, the quality of service is 50% decisive for an investment decision - as much as product quality and price together. By switching from a product-centric to a service-centric approach, machine manufacturers can use their customers' IoT data to become "service champions" and increase their revenues. Servitization involves offering customers a range of services and solutions such as maintenance, repair and upgrades in addition to the traditional product offering. By implementing this model, machinery manufacturers can increase customer loyalty, improve revenue predictability and enhance their ability to capture valuable data about their customers' usage patterns and needs. The way forward: greater resilience through Equipment-as-a-Service. Overall, the gradual evolution of Equipment-as-a-Service, can help machinery manufacturers stay competitive in the challenging economic environment and position themselves for long-term success. Your competition never sleeps - take the next step towards the future.

Freshflow is a new way to manage fresh products for grocery retailers. We do accurate order forecasting, replenishment, and inventory control that massively reduce food waste while still keeping shelves full. Doing that we reduce global carbon emissions and generate millions in profits for our clients. Today, more than 40% of all food produced globally is wasted. Food waste produces carbon emissions 6x higher than the entire aviation industry and if it were a country, it would be the third-largest emitter of greenhouse gases, right behind China and the US. Besides that, it also causes $1.2 trillion/year in losses. Grocery retailers throw away up to 15% of their fresh products due to poor ordering decisions. Order quantities are most often based on gut feeling or, at best, spreadsheets or traditional forecasting and replenishment software. Juggling the hundreds of factors a good order is based on is hard. We’re already working with the largest grocery retailers in Germany and France, where we are already reducing food waste by 25% while increasing their revenue! We’ve secured significant funding from Europe’s leading investors and several highly relevant angel investors in the food space. We’re also in close collaboration with professors at the DKFI, the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence.

We make technology “get out of the way,” so hotels can focus on the guest experience. Having continued to evolve and innovate through the years, Hetras has grown beyond the traditional idea of a property management systems behind a front desk and moved towards a guest-focused system, including all touch points of a modern guest journey. Together with our hotel clients, we noticed that guests are much more satisfied when they can skip the wait, and when staff are working alongside the guests throughout the experience. So, we moved beyond just a cloud-based system to a mobile system and guest journey, where guests can control their own stay on their own devices, or via a tablet in the lobby. This essentially keeps the guest at the center of his journey. Hotels can concentrate on service and not computers or technology. Hetras is a Shiji Group Brand, one of the largest international hotel technology suppliers. www.shijigroup.com
