The Cloud Signature Consortium is a nonprofit association of industry and academic organizations committed to building standards for cloud-based trust services that support web and mobile applications and comply with the most demanding electronic signature regulations in the world. We provide an open technical specification that makes solutions interoperable and suitable for uniform adoption in the global market. This effort was inspired by the need to meet the highest level requirements of the European Union’s Regulation on Identification and Trust Services (eIDAS), but its impact is global as demand for highly secure digital solutions continues to rise.

Open Identity Exchange (OIX) - building trust in online identity. OIX is a non-profit trade organisation of competitors across sectors e.g. the internet, data aggregation, telecommunications and government driving the expansion of existing online identity services and the adoption of new online products. OIX helps develop and register trust frameworks: pre-negotiated sets of business, legal and technical agreements that provide stakeholders with mutual assurance that their online transactions can be trusted. OIX members form a global centre of excellence for the identity trust layer of online transactions sharing domain expertise, joint research and pilot projects to test real world use cases. Membership of OIX is open to all organisations invested in the success of online identity assurance. Our multi-tiered member program encourages organisations of all sizes to participate, collaborate and contribute to the success of our shared mission.

Efficiënt, betrouwbaar en eenvoudig online zaken doen tussen overheden en bedrijven en bedrijven onderling, met de authenticatie en autorisatie van eHerkenning. eHerkenning is een initiatief van de Rijksoverheid voor veilig inloggen bij (overheids)organisaties, speciaal voor bedrijven. Ondernemers of medewerkers van een organisatie kunnen zich met één inlogmiddel veilig en eenvoudig online identificeren bij verschillende organisaties. Zij hoeven hierdoor niet steeds opnieuw wachtwoorden aan te vragen en te onthouden. Bij de aanvraag van een inlogmiddel wordt iemands identiteit grondig gecheckt. Ook kunnen medewerkers gemachtigd worden om namens hun organisatie specifieke diensten te regelen. Dit zorgt ervoor dat een organisatie meer zekerheid krijgt over de online identiteit van de persoon waarmee zij zakendoen. Dit voorkomt fouten en fraude. Anders dan bij DigiD is eHerkenning niet één technische voorziening. Het wordt geleverd door meerdere erkende leveranciers in een netwerk. Zij hebben samen met de overheid afspraken gemaakt over strenge eisen aan veiligheid, betrouwbaarheid en de bescherming van persoonlijke gegevens. De overheid beheert deze afspraken en controleert of ze nagekomen worden. Alleen private partijen die aan álle afspraken voldoen, mogen aan eHerkenning meedoen. eHerkenning is een publiek – private samenwerking en heeft daar een toepasselijke governance bij.
