Suomen Tennisliiton perusti viisi seuraa, Viipurin Tennisseura, Åbo Lawn-Tennis Klub, Helsingin Lawntennis Klubi, Hangon Tenniskerho ja Tampereen Tennisseura 22.4.1911. Suomessa on tenniksen harrastajia noin 130 000, joista viikkotasolla pelaa yli 60 000. Tennisliiton jäsenseuroissa on jäseniä lähes 24 000. Päivölän opisto on monipuolinen tiede- ja yliopistosuuntautunut oppilaitos Valkeakosken Tarttilassa. Välivuoden sijaan voit opiskella Päivölässä ja suorittaa jo ensimmäisen vuoden yliopisto-opintoja menettämättä ensikertalaisen hakuoikeuttasi. Vaihtoehtoja on useita: Oikeustiede, kauppatiede, luonnontieteet, kuvataiteet, arkkitehtuuri ja yhteiskunta-ala. Uutena linjana vuonna 2020 starttaa kyberliiketoiminnan linja. Lisäksi meillä on maineikas, jo käsitteeksi muodostunut matematiikkalinja, joka on suunnattu tieteestä ja teknologiasta kiinnostuneille peruskoulunsa päättäville nuorille. Matematiikkalinjalla yhdistyvät matemaattisten aineiden opinnot sekä Valkeakosken Tietotien lukion opinnot. Päivölän opistolta löytyy useita erilaisia koulutus- ja kokoustiloja, joita vuokraamme myös asiakkaidemme käyttöön. Tilamme sopivat erilaisiin juhliin, kokouksiin, tykypäiviin tai vaikkapa kaveriporukan saunailtaan. Ja keittiömme toimittaa tarjottavat tilaisuuksiin.
