Silicon Catalyst Angels was spawned from Silicon Catalyst, the world’s only incubator focused exclusively on accelerating solutions in silicon. Silicon Catalyst, named UBM/Canon’s Startup Company of the Year, is now in its fifth year of operations and has engaged with over 300 startups. www.sicatalyst.com
What makes Silicon Catalyst Angels unique is not only our visibility into an exclusive deal flow pipeline, but our membership of accredited investors is comprised of seasoned semiconductor veterans who bring with them a wealth of knowledge along with their ability to invest. Driven by passion and a desire to ‘give back’, our members understand the hardware space thanks to a lifetime of engagement in the industry. When you couple our members enthusiasm, knowledge, and broad network of connections with companies that have been vetted and admitted to Silicon Catalyst, you have a formula that is to date, non existent within the investment community.

The Band of Angels is Silicon Valleys oldest seed funding organization. We are a formal group of more than 150 former and current high tech executives who are interested in investing their time and money into new, cutting edge, startup companies. Weve seeded over 277 companies in our history with 61 profitable M&A exits and 11 IPOs. Band members have founded companies such as Symantec, Logitech, and National Semiconductor and been senior executives at the likes of Sun Microsystems, Hewlett Packard, and Intuit.
The Band meets monthly to formally consider three startups selected from among the more than 50 that are screened each month by the Band Deal Selection Process. Entrepreneurs can expect a thorough examination and, occasionally, an investment from some of Silicon Valleys most accomplished entrepreneurs.

The Ann Arbor Angels is a membership organization of Angel investors that invest in early-stage innovation based companies, with a primary focus in Southeast Michigan.
A2A is not a fund. Our members collaborate on due diligence, but make individual investment decisions. Members recognize the inherent risks of early-stage investing.
Ann Arbor Angel members are focused on investment returns, while often additionally motivated by a desire to give back to the community, to help build successful companies and to participate in the satisfaction that comes from this involvement.
Members of the Ann Arbor Angels are accredited investors who invest in companies primarily in Michigan. Broadly defined our members fall into four categories:
Guardian Angels who bring both entrepreneurial and industry expertise.
Entrepreneur Angels who have experience starting companies but come from different sectors.
Operational Angels who bring industry experience and expertise, but from large, established companies, and lack first-hand experience with the travails of a startup.
Financial Angels who typically invest purely for the financial return.
