Our breakthrough sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) technology, aerobrew, will make affordable net-zero aviation a reality. The technology is innovative, highly scaleable and able to tap into future global renewable energy systems efficiently.
Starting from renewable feedstocks including green hydrogen, driven by renewable electricity, and sustainably sourced CO2, for example from direct air capture, aerobrew™ provides an efficient route to large-scale production of e-kerosene, overcoming the scale up challenges and high costs of alternative e-fuels technologies.
aerobrew™ is also compatible with the biogenic route whereby the carbon required for the process is derived from renewable and sustainable cellulosic biomass which, does not compete with the food chain (wood, miscanthus, etc.).
With a high carbon conversion, high selectivity and a high overall SAF yield, aerobrew™ leads to attractive production economics and cost leadership.
With a rapidly growing demand for SAF, aerobrew™ stands to contribute significantly to the decarbonisation of global aviation and to support the achievement of net zero 2050 targets.

As spin-off from the TU Munich, were a highly tech-driven climate startup paving the way to 100% renewable, decarbonized future by making the most of biogas. Our all-in-one solution comes as a containerized standard unit: ready for mass manufacturing and plug&play installation, offers revolutionary electrical efficiencies of 80% for both power generation and energy storage, and actively reduces GHG emissions with a negative CO2 balance.
With this unique combination of USPs, we disrupt the entire energy sector! Reverions mission is to replace 19th century combustion engine technology still used today for biogas utilization with our patented high temperature fuel cell systems. Thereby, we would be able to double the available power output throughout Europe with the same amount of biogas and to:
• cut 10% of total CO2 emissions (-260 Mt/yr), tackling global warming and achieve the 1.5° mitigation targets
• generate >400 TWh of renewable gases (green H2/CH4), bridging week-long periods without sun or wind using surplus energy and biogenic CO2
• power more than 65M households, assuring supply security with weather-independent, reliable and 24/7 available bioenergy

Technology to drive the next generation of biofuels
Terragia is focused on developing biological conversion systems based on engineered bacteria which convert non-food cellulosic biomass to fuels and chemicals. We seek to use thermophilic bacteria to process biomass without added enzymes and with little or no pretreatment. Terragia leverages years of research and unique technology to bring the world’s most economically feasible biofuels.
Thermophilic bacteria and their enzymes have superior capability to solubilize lignocellulose as compared to industry-standard fungal cellulase. By taking full advantage of this capability combined with innovative processing strategies, Terragia foresees dramatic reduction in the cost of lignocellulose conversion using an approach we call “C-CBP.”
Enabled by recent advances in genetic engineering, Terragia starts with thermophilic microorganisms representative of nature’s best hemicellulose and cellulose fermenters, and develops strains that produce desired products well. A growing body of research suggests that the Terragia approach has some substantial inherent advantages and is likely to be the most cost effective for some important applications. In particular, by taking advantage of the superior feedstock-utilizing capability of thermophiles, it is possible to envision biomass processing with no added enzymes and with little or no pretreatment, thus avoiding the two principle impediments to cost-effective processing today.

Residential air conditioning is becoming a necessity rather than a luxury. Three billion new residential air conditioning units will be purchased and installed throughout the world by 2050. India and China will account for the majority of this global expansion. Using a novel desiccant material developed at MIT, Transaera is developing an ultra-efficient air conditioning system that will bring comfort to billions of people while reducing the impact on climate and grid infrastructure.
