Several billion people on depend on the ocean for food, and the life in the ocean absorbs 50% of our carbon emissions and 90% of our excess heat, while producing 25% of our oxygen. Yet overfishing, plastic and other pollution, and climate change are choking the life out of the sea. As it suffers, so will we.
