CEO Sleepout asks big hearted bosses to give up their warm bed for one night to raise funds for someone who doesn't have one. So far we've raised over £2.7 million for charities working tirelessly to solve poverty and homelessness across the UK. On 8th March this year, #CEOSleepoutNewcastle, raised a whopping £116,000. 100 participants took part in the event at St James'​ Park. We make sure that the majority of money raised is distributed to local charities to fight homelessness and poverty within a few miles of each CEO sleepout, as well as those charities that work nationally. Our top ten beneficiaries to date: Depaul A UK wide charity working tirelessly to tackle homelessness and support disadvantaged youth. Amount donated £190,939 Cardinal Hume Centre London-based charity working to support young homeless and families. Amount donated £161,568 Changing Lives Supporting vulnerable and homeless people right across the UK. Amount donated £159,548 Newcastle United Foundation Working with the most marginalised young people in the North East of England to get young lives back on track. Amount donated £86,200 Church Urban Fund Working within communities across the UK to help individuals escape poverty. Amount donated £48,834 Notts County Foundation Engaging with marginalised young people across the East Midlands, getting lives back on track. Amount donated £23,910 Merhyr Valley Homes Working with homeless ex-services across South Wales. Amount donated £20,000 Cardiff Foodbank Providing emergency food, support and advice for people in crisis in South Wales. Amount donated £20,000 Llamau Working in South Wales to support homeless people and deliver outreach support. Amount donated £20,000 Mustard Tree Working across Manchester, combatting poverty and preventing homelessness. Amount donated £10,000
