PredictImmune develops pioneering tools for guiding personalised treatment options in immune-mediated diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Based on world-leading research at Cambridge University, UK, we are developing a simple lab test, using a small blood sample, which accurately identifies patients at diagnosis who are at risk of experiencing severe, relapsing disease. These patients are likely to benefit from early biologics therapy. Physicians, patients and payers all recognise the value of such an approach to the management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

STORM Therapeutics is a biotechnology company creating novel therapies that inhibit RNA modifying enzymes (RME) for use in oncology and other diseases. There are more than 150 RNA modifications reported and approximately 300 RNA modifying enzymes which represent novel therapeutic targets.
STORM has leveraged its first mover advantage to establish a novel drug discovery and RNA analytics platform leading to the identification of novel targets and a proprietary pipeline of first in class small-molecule drug candidates for potential use in oncology, inflammation, viral infections, and CNS diseases.
The pipeline is exemplified by STORM’s METTL3 inhibitor (STC-15) for which an IND has been filed with the FDA to support initiation of a Phase I clinical trial in cancer patients in 2022. STC-15 represents the first RNA modifying enzyme inhibitor to enter clinical evaluation in humans. Additional candidates are planned for advancement into IND-track activities in 2023.
STORM has built an experienced R&D team who occupy modern, well-equipped laboratories on the Babraham Research Campus near Cambridge, UK. The company’s proprietary in house research is complemented by outsourcing of some discovery activities to high quality CRO partners (e.g., Evotec) enabling STORM to operate a cost efficient and flexible model.

Bicycle Therapeutics (NASDAQ: BCYC) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a novel class of medicines, referred to as Bicycles, for diseases that are underserved by existing therapeutics. Bicycles are fully synthetic short peptides constrained with small molecule scaffolds to form two loops that stabilize their structural geometry. This constraint facilitates target binding with high affinity and selectivity, making Bicycles attractive candidates for drug development.
Bicycle is evaluating BT5528, a second-generation Bicycle Toxin Conjugate (BTC™) targeting EphA2; BT8009, a second-generation BTC targeting Nectin-4, a well-validated tumor antigen; and BT7480, a Bicycle TICA™ targeting Nectin-4 and agonizing CD137, in company-sponsored Phase I/II trials. In addition, BT1718, a BTC that targets MT1-MMP, is being investigated in an ongoing Phase I/IIa clinical trial sponsored by the Cancer Research UK Centre for Drug Development.
Bicycle is headquartered in Cambridge, UK, with many key functions and members of its leadership team located in Cambridge, MA. For more information, visit bicycletherapeutics.com.

At Nuclera, our mission is to better human health by making proteins accessible. We believe that providing rapid access to high-quality, soluble, active proteins at the benchtop will allow researchers to accelerate their protein projects. Fail fast, succeed faster.
Our eProtein Discovery™ system automates construct screening for the best soluble expression and purification yields of different proteins in under 24 hours. From there, protein scale-up happens the next day (up to the mg scale) right on the benchtop - delivering reliable protein in-hand in less than 48 hours. Nuclera’s technology integrates cell-free protein synthesis and digital microfluidics on smart cartridges, allowing rapid progress on protein projects through a benchtop, automated, high-throughput protein access system.
Founded in 2013 by PhD students at the University of Cambridge, the company now has a presence in Cambridge, UK and Boston, MA employing over 100 employees.
