Tribonex offers innovative solutions for friction and wear reduction. Our technologies can be integrated in current manufacturing environment at considerably lower cost than similar treatments. We have three core offerings, Triboconditioning®, TriboNite® and Tricolit®. Triboconditioning® Triboconditioning® is a mechanochemical surface finishing process used for improving the tribological properties of mechanical components made of steel or cast iron. The process combines elements of mechanical burnishing of the component surface with tribochemical deposition of a low-friction tribofilm. Hereby, the running-in behavior of treated components are improved and useful service life extended. Furthermore, treatment conditions can be optimized for each component individually, offering a high degree of design flexibility. TriboNite® TriboNite® is an advanced industrial thermal processing and coating technology which combines the advantages of nitriding with the superior tribological properties of solid lubricant coatings, a unique combination of mechanical toughness and low friction. The TriboNite® technology has been developed in a cooperation between Tribonex and Bodycote, the world-leading experts in surface and heat treatment technologies. Tricolit® Tricolit® is a range of solid lubricant coatings for friction and wear reduction, suitable for spray- or dip-application onto a variety of substrate materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous alloys, galvanized surfaces, and certain types of plastics.

PowerCell develops and produces hydrogen electric fuel cell stacks and systems with a uniquely high power density, targeting applications in the aviation, marine, power generation, off-road and on-road segments. PowerCell products run on pure or reformed hydrogen and generate electricity and heat without any other emissions than water. Our technology combines high efficiency with compact design, and contributes to increased energy efficiency and a substantial reduction of emissions regardless of application.
