Founded in 2001, Sagehen Capital Management ("SCM") is a student-run hedge fund located at Pomona College. Open to all students at the Claremont Consortium, SCM provides an engaging environment for students to learn about investing through a hands-on approach. Today, SCM manages approximately $1 million of Pomona Colleges endowment with a value-oriented philosophy. Students receive weekly lessons on topics including valuation, portfolio management, and trading strategies.
