Building an Integrated First Mile: At Warc Africa, we’re reshaping agriculture by solving first mile challenges — bringing proximity, presence, and a platform that works for both farmers and buyers. Operating in Ghana, Uganda and Sierra Leone, Warc builds the infrastructure, networks, and partnerships that link rural farmers directly to global markets. Through our growing network of community-based Trading Hubs, we bring products, tools, training, and trade to the doorstep of farmers. A model built for farmers — and for scale: Our hubs are managed by our trained employees and serve as points for input sales, aggregation, and knowledge sharing. We currently trade in maize, soy, sesame, shea, and cocoa, supported by regenerative agriculture training focused on no-till and crop rotation practices. Sustainable sourcing for buyers: From food and feed processors to FMCGs and specialty exporters, Warc enables scalable sourcing of quality crops — with full traceability, logistics support, and a permanent presence in the field. Warc Consultants: Strategy meets implementation - Our consulting division works with donors, investors, and governments to deliver hands-on implementation, market research, and strategy across the agricultural ecosystem. Warc builds on this operational foundation to deliver practical advisory services across agriculture, food systems, climate, entrepreneurship, and impact measurement. 100,000+ lives improved and growing - We’ve increased farmer incomes, created rural jobs, and moved tens of thousands of tons of food. With strong local roots and scalable systems, we’re ready to grow sustainable sourcing across Sub-Saharan Africa.

We believe this generation of young people can transform our global society for the better. But right now, there’s a lot standing in their way; from disempowering internal narratives to restrictive social norms, to an economic system that excludes them altogether. That’s why we break down barriers so that young people can take control of the future. Our Emmy-award-winning team run our three social ventures: Shujaaz – our multimedia youth platform and East-Africa’s biggest youth brand; Hustla MBA – our digital learning community and our newest venture, a digital networking platform, set to launch in 2020. Our social ventures inspire, entertain and mobilise 7.5 million 15-24-year-olds across East Africa. Our network connects young people with the information, skills and resources they need to take control; embedding them in a digital and real-world community that gives them the self-belief to succeed, in their context and on their terms. Since launching in 2009, Shujaaz Inc has proven that when young people take control of their lives, they create transformational change. Regularly engaging 56% of young Kenyans and 15% of young Tanzanians, our network of social ventures creates internationally recognised impact. Fans that regularly engage with our platforms earn $21 more per month, are 43% more likely to use condoms and 2.4x more likely to delay childbirth, than non-fans. For every $1 we spend our network creates $10 of value.
