London Technology Leaders is a new meetup in the London tech scene bought to you by the team that created South West Technology Leaders – https://www.meetup.com/S-W-LIT-South-West-Leaders-in-Tech/ London Technology Leaders is a tech meetup for senior managers/directors involved in change and digital transformation programmes in the City of London. The meetup will provide an open forum for senior managers to discuss market trends, disruptive technology, regulation and challenges around implementing change in the digital age. It will be an objective environment where people can feel comfortable sharing knowledge, experience, challenges and insights. The London meetup scene is saturated with development, testing and agile offerings (of which we are heavily active in supporting and organising at SR2) although it’s been flagged a significant number of times by those we represent, that there is no platform for senior managers to meet and discuss the real challenges they face when implementing change across the 3 key pillars; people, process and technology. The plan: We meet once a month at different locations/company offices across the city with a dedicated subject for each month. The events will feature a diverse range of speakers (typically 2-3 per meetup) with opportunities for open Q&A and networking before and afterwards. The subjects we cover are member-driven and in line with the challenges our attendees are facing. We have an excellent network across London and aim to showcase some of the most exciting change programmes that are underway locally. We will be limiting the numbers for the meetup so keep a close eye on the page and equally, dont be offended if you miss out on an event. To confirm – this wont be a formal “These are the slides marketing will let me share” type affair. It will be about real stories, real challenges and real learning in a safe, confidential and open environment.
