Enterra started when founder, Brad Marchant, found himself dancing with fate, while fishing with David Suzuki. They were discussing the need for a new and viable fish feed solution to supplement over-harvested fishmeal and fish oil, helping restore the ocean’s ecosystem and bring greater food security to the world. Insects were already a considerable part of the diet for popular fish like salmon and trout – so why not start there? This is what started Enterra on its journey to harness the power of insects to feed and care for the world. Since then, Enterra has been producing the highest-quality insect ingredients in North America for animal feed and pet food companies at the forefront of innovation and sustainability.
