The World Healthcare Forum is an international platform that connects leaders of today and tomorrow to identify major needs, best practices, and ways forward in organizing better and more sustainable healthcare worldwide. The World Healthcare Forum is best known for its annual Forum in the Netherlands during which participants from all over the world, representing all key stakeholders in the healthcare chain: governments, scientists, physicians, hospital administrators, policy makers, leaders from the industry, NGOs, patient organizations, insurance companies, and entrepreneurs come together to discuss ways forward in healthcare. The fourth edition of the World Healthcare Forum will be on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th April 2018 in the World Forum in The Hague, The Netherlands.

De Sustainable Healthcare Challenge is een stichting, opgericht door studenten, die jong ondernemerschap in de zorg stimuleert door middel van het organiseren van verscheidene evenementen. Het is onze missie om jonge ondernemers in contact te brengen met zorginstanties en op die manier het opzetten van een succesvolle start-up binnen de zorg te faciliteren. Onze missie is om iedereen in Nederland kwalitatief hoogwaardige zorg te kunnen (blijven) bieden, en om dit te kunnen bewerkstelligen is het van essentieel belang de zorgsector continu te blijven vernieuwen. Met dit doel voor ogen richten wij ons vooral op jonge ondernemers (studenten of net-werkenden) die een innovatief idee hebben om de zorg te verbeteren en dit idee, door een start-up op te richten, de wereld in willen helpen. Dit alles wordt mogelijk gemaakt door een aantal waardevolle partners die ons hun expertise en financiële ondersteuning bieden. Voor het succesvol voortbestaan van de SHC is het daarom van essentieel belang dat we grote bekendheid vergaren onder verscheidene spelers in de zorg. Maar net zo cruciaal voor ons succes is het in contact komen met medisch en paramedisch studenten. Zij zijn immers onze “doelgroep” die we willen stimuleren om de ervaringen die zij opdoen tijdens hun studie (coschappen, stages etc) te gebruiken om te bedenken welke innovaties er nou écht nodig zijn in de kliniek. Kairos Society the Netherlands is the Dutch chapter of the Kairos Society. We are building an international community of young entrepreneurs, who build for-profit companies that aim to solve the world's grand challenges. Our mission is to provide an international network to student entrepreneurs, running meaningful businesses that tackle global challenges, allowing them to evolve their business by exchanging knowledge and to build long-term relationships. On a global level, we introduce and connect the Dutch Kairos fellows to potential business contacts, senior leaders and mentors. Dutch fellows of the Kairos Society are connected to an exclusive, international network of top entrepreneurial students. Kairos fellows are invited as young leaders to international events such as the annual Kairos Summit in NYC, the World Foresight Forum in the Hague or the Alibaba summit in China. All fellows become part of the Kairos global network, opening up the possibility to find partners or friends anywhere from Abu Dhabi to San Francisco.
