Launched in 2025, WeAreEurope is a European movement of citizens and corporate leaders establishing initiatives in all EU member states. WeAreEurope is dedicated to advocate for Europe’s unique model, which has been recently under global pressure. We are not the USA, we are not China—we are Europe, and we must find our own solutions to tackle global challenges while strengthening our resilience. Our ambition is to become the worlds first major economy that operates within planetary boundaries. Its members join as individuals but also as leaders of a diverse range of organisations, including small and large companies, digital platforms, universities, and consulting firms. It is organised in working groups defending EU most important totems and distinctive features such as : * ESG : gathering ESG experts, corporate leaders that believe companies have a triple function and are embracing a fair and efficient Green Deal project as centric to business development and success * Science : academics, scientists and professors that believe our collective decisions must be based on science * Architecture and landscape : architects, designers and city planners that embrace Europe unique mix of architecture and low carbon, human centric cities * Diversity, Equality and Inclusion : professionals and NGOs that are defending DEI public and private policies as a key and non negociable element of European civilisation model First WAE projects focus on ESG initiatives around EU’s Green Deal policies, introduced in 2019. While these policies address crucial issues—climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and social inequalities—they suffer from inadequate oversight.
