Azor Biotek is developing microRNA-targeting small molecule therapeutics. Our lead therapeutics are designed to target miR-29 and miR-223 as multimodal tumor inhibitors. Our design platform leverages high-throughput zebrafish phenotypic, molecular and pharmacokinetic data. We have therapeutic development pipelines in place for glioblastoma as well as neurodegenerative, fibrotic, cardiovascular and psychiatric indications.

By collaboration with biopharma partners as well as academic institutions, sapientis is establishing a premier ecosystem to enable network effects, scientific progress, and shared learning to speed up the availability of biotechnological solutions for serious diseases within infectious diseases, onco-immunology, and precision medicine in rare diseases, concentrating on pilot projects and delivering products for clinical trial activities. sapientis is planning to start operating the state-of-the-art cGMP biotechnological pilot plant including development laboratories from Q4 2023 to provide comprehensive GMP development and the complete spectrum of services from discovery to drug substance and drug product development and manufacturing for New Biological Entities (NBEs) worldwide.
