The resolution of details on a cellular level provided by the system enables an efficient analysis of treatment response and disease progression. The system is developed for advanced research in the area of retinal diagnostics and optimized for clinical use – less chair time per patient with maintained high quality images compared to other solutions currently available on the market. Profundus has the potential to pave the way when it comes to further exploring the universe of the human eye and the possibilities to detect and prevent different diseases by retinal diagnostics. The end goal being to enhance quality of life for patients through early detection and treatment of different diseases and at the same time reducing future healthcare costs.

Amferia AB is a Swedish company that develops and markets new medical devices with emphasis on antibacterial products. The core focus of Amferia is to develop materials that can efficiently kill bacteria when used as medical devices, for example within wound care. Amferia is a spin-off from research performed at Chalmers University of Technology. The company was founded in 2018 and the founders of Amferia are Dr. Anand Kumar Rajasekharan, Professor Martin Andersson and Dr. Saba Atefyekta.

Life Genomics is a private genetic laboratory which was founded in 2014 through the spin-off from TATAA Biocenter AB, to develop offers of genetic tests to the healthcare industry and the public. Life Genomics have two tests on the market: Non-invasive prenatal tests (NIPT) and PCR-test for Covid-19. Further tests are under development.
