The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) offers education in the areas of architecture, industrial design, landscape architecture and urbanism. The school currently has about 700 students and about 150 employees. AHO awards the titles of PhD, Master of architecture, Master of industrial design and Master of landscape architecture as well as post-graduate master degrees in urban studies and architectural heritage.

Voksenåsen er Norges nasjonalgave til Sverige, som takk for den humanitære hjelpen under andre verdenskrig. Det er heleid av den svenske stat og huser i dag et kultursenter og et hotell med unike rammer for mellommenneskelige møter. Voksenåsen er et modernistisk kulturminne midt i naturen, med panoramautsikt over Oslo. Formspråket er tidstypisk med rene linjer, horisontalitet i volumene og store vindusflater. Karakteristiske materialer er hvitslemmet murstein, kobber, tjæret tre, naturstein og eik. Voksenåsen har gjennomgått flere endringer, ombygginger og tilbygg siden innvielse i 1960. Da en av de opprinnelige arkitektene, Hans Kjell Larsen, ledet dette arbeidet, er alle endringer og tilbygg i anleggets ånd. Hotellet har 84 hotellrom og én suite - alle med utsikt over de vakre omgivelsene. Generøse fellesområder inviterer til samvær og restauranten tilbyr både selskapsmeny og à la carte. Lyse og moderne møterom har plass for grupper på opp til 180 personer. Kultursenterets oppdrag er å, i samarbeid med relevante fagmiljøer i Norge og Sverige, drive kontaktskapende virksomhet innen samfunnsliv, språk og kultur. Hovedvekten ligger på kreative, grenseoverskridende læringsarenaer for ungdom. Voksenåsen Musikkakademier og Hågkomstresor for svenske skoleklasser er kultursenterets to største prosjekter innen dette feltet. I umiddelbar nærhet til eiendommen ligger Nordmarka med turstier og sykkelveier om sommeren, samt milevis med skiløyper og skispor om vinteren. I perioden Juni til september kan man som gjest benytte seg kostnadsfritt av utebassenget. Innen gangavstand fra Voksenåsen finner man Roseslottet, som er en unik kunstopplevelse. Det er 10 km fra Voksenåsen til byen, og 700 meter til Voksenkollen T-banestasjon. Voksenåsen AS er en svensk statlig virksomhet og eies gjennom kulturdepartementet. Statens konstråd er ansvarlig for kunstsamlingen. Eiendommen eies og forvaltes av Statens fastighetsverk.

Catalysts runs mentoring programs for youth to strengthen youths confidence, networks and life choices. Catalysts offers appropriate and tailored support through a 6 month program. This program targets youth with multicultural and refugee backgrounds and connects them to a personal and trained mentor. We use best practices in mentoring, appreciative inquiry and carefully selected social impact indicators. Catalysts is a part of the Crown Prince Couples Fund, and has been nominated for the Nordic Start up Awards for Social impact in 2019.

Stiftelsen Make-A-Wish Norge grants wishes for children between 3-18 who lives with critical illnesses. Our goal is to create hope, strength and joy. Stiftelsen Make-A-Wish Norge was founded in 2017 and with the help of dedicated volunteers, we help the children strenghten their mental health and give the motivation needed to continue the battle against their condition.
