Plains Angels is a group of accredited angel investors interested in achieving outsized financial returns by investing in early-stage growth companies. It provides a platform for its members to view and exchange information about investment opportunities in high-potential, early-stage and emerging growth companies. Plains Angels is an initiative of the Greater Des Moines Partnership and was founded in 2012 by co-founders and co-managers Mike Colwell and Tej Dhawan.
