LIP Paris Racing Team est un projet étudiant décurie de sport automobile qui rassemble 92 étudiants de lInstitut Polytechnique de Paris. Son activité principale est la conception et le développement dune monoplace électrique pour représenter lIP Paris lors de compétitions étudiantes internationales : la Formula Student. Il sagit dune compétition d’étudiants ingénieurs regroupant des écoles prestigieuses du monde entier dans le but de construire la voiture la plus techniquement avancée, tout en respectant des contraintes économiques et environnementales. Des impératifs dendurance, defficacité énergétique, et de vitesse. Créée en 2022, lécurie a de grands objectifs et cherche à faire rayonner lexcellence de lIP Paris et de ses écoles.
