Welcome to Penn Growth Equity Group, Whartons premier undergraduate growth equity club. We are dedicated to fostering deep interest and expertise in the growth equity industry, with a focus on software investing. Our mission is to offer students unparalleled opportunities to master the intricacies of growth equity investing, acquire hands-on experience through real-world projects, and gain valuable recruiting insights. Through our Growth Accelerator, students can engage with in-depth workshops, seminars, and speaker panels covering a range of topics, including financial modeling, market mapping, mock founder calls, and firm-specific interview prep. Launching Spring 2025, the Growth Equity Practicum allows students to work on investing and value creation projects alongside top growth equity funds. Real-world experience and networking opportunities prepare students for growth equity careers.

Powered by General Catalyst, GC Venture Fellows provides students the capital they need to get started and provides access to a community of peers, experienced mentors, alumni and investors to help take their startups to the next level. GRC Group (Global Research & Consulting) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with over 1000 active students from various cultural and academic backgrounds. We collaborate with NGOs, NPOs, charities, and startups worldwide to complete pro-bono consulting and research projects. Our collaboration develops well-informed and impactful insights and solutions, empowering global-minded future leaders. We aim to connect a diverse group of remarkable students, united by a passion for creating global impact, and provide opportunities to develop their research and consulting skills and harness cross-cultural awareness. At GRC Group, we emphasize the importance of using interdisciplinary research to understand and inform innovations in the private, public, and social sectors. We seek the latest information on macroeconomic trends, cultural context, industry best practices, and champion impactful initiatives globally.

The Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology, affectionately called the M&T Program, is the oldest coordinated dual degree program at the University of Pennsylvania. The program combines academics from two phenomenal Penn assets, Penn Engineering and the Wharton School, into one unique educational experience. Students enrolled in the M&T Program pursue degrees from both schools concurrently, creating a truly interdisciplinary learning experience. This combination enables our students not only to understand engineering and business concepts, but also to understand the integration of the two and how this intersection distinctively shapes our world. M&T students pursue a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School and either a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) or a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering (BAS) from Penn Engineering. The curriculum includes special ‘M&T only’ courses that allow for added interdisciplinary learning opportunities. In addition, students within the Program pursue humanities courses through the School of Arts and Sciences, conduct research, and get involved in a wide array of activities across campus. Each academic year we welcome approximately 50 to 55 new students to campus as part of the program. We proudly boast approximately 2,200 alumni worldwide.
