Teff, a grain native to Ethiopia, is primarily used to make injera, a traditional Ethiopian flatbread. Full of nutritional value, teff is recognized by the World Health Organization as a superfood rich in iron, calcium, and protein. Additionally, teff is gluten-free, making it suitable for people with gluten intolerance. The global teff market is valued at around $200 million annually, with teff products available throughout Africa, Europe, and America. Traditionally injera requires a long and slow fermentation process, taking up to four days to fully prepare. Using innovative solutions, Top Teff has developed instant injera, reducing the preparation time to just 2 minutes. This notable decrease in preparation time allows for easier access to injera and greater availability. Additional flavors, including vanilla and chocolate, make Top Teff injera appealing to wider audiences.
