The Dakar Network Angels (DNA) is an angel investor network based in Dakar, Senegal, investing in early stage companies throughout the WAEMU region and contiguous countries. Our members are successful professionals who are willing to invest their time, experience and network to support very promising startups across Africa. They gain access to a quality deal flow of innovative startups serving the WAEMU markets and help them grow. DNA members are investment professionals and/or industry experts, selected for their ability to contribute to achieving the overall objectives. They are based in all four corners of the world (Africa, Asia, Europe, and America). Members are significantly involved after the investment in helping portfolio companies achieve their goals. The International School of Dakar is an English language school, serving children in grades Pre-Kindergarten 3 through grade 12. ISD is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and the Council of International Schools (CIS). The US based curriculum is enhanced by the best educational practices from around the world including the prestigious International Baccalaureate Program for students in grades 11 and 12. Through specialized teachers, ISD is able to support students who are learning English as another language as well as students with mild learning disabilities. Our graduates have attended universities in the United States, Canada, and Europe including some of the top universities in the world such as Harvard, Stanford, University of Toronto and the University of Bath, UK.
