The Dakar Network Angels (DNA) is an angel investor network based in Dakar, Senegal, investing in early stage companies throughout the WAEMU region and contiguous countries. Our members are successful professionals who are willing to invest their time, experience and network to support very promising startups across Africa. They gain access to a quality deal flow of innovative startups serving the WAEMU markets and help them grow. DNA members are investment professionals and/or industry experts, selected for their ability to contribute to achieving the overall objectives. They are based in all four corners of the world (Africa, Asia, Europe, and America). Members are significantly involved after the investment in helping portfolio companies achieve their goals. The long-term goal of Advancing Women in Investing (AWI) is to create a movement of change to democratize access to funding and opportunity for emerging female capital movers.
