The Foundation for Innovation in Healthy Food (FIHF) builds coalitions of stakeholders that support increasing the nutritional value of the foods we consume, while preserving consumers’ food experiences. Our goal is to save thousands of lives and billions of dollars in annual healthcare costs.

Seit 2001 vertritt der VDB die wichtigsten deutschen Biokraftstoffhersteller gegenüber Politik und Öffentlichkeit auf nationaler und europäischer Ebene. Seine derzeit 15 ordentlichen und 3 außerordentlichen Mitglieder mit einer Produktion von 2,3 Mio. t Biodiesel (und 600 GWh Biomethan) repräsentieren 60 Prozent der deutschen Biodieselproduktion. Sie stehen für Gegenwart und Zukunft der nachhaltigen Mobilität in Deutschland. Der VDB stellt sich im Wesentlichen zwei Aufgaben: Wettbewerbsorientierte Rahmenbedingungen mitzugestalten und die Branche nach Außen zu vertreten.

OVID vertritt die Interessen der ölsaatenverarbeitenden und pflanzenölraffinierenden Unternehmen in Deutschland. Die im Verband organisierten Ölmühlen verarbeiten jährlich rund 10 Millionen Tonnen Ölsaaten, raffinieren 2 Millionen Tonnen Pfanzenöl und produzieren 6 Millionen Tonnen Ölschrote. Un­se­re Mis­si­on Substanz: Fundament unserer Arbeit Als traditionsreiche Branche stehen die deutschen Ölmühlen für Erfahrung, aber auch für Innovationskraft beim Handel und der Verarbeitung von Ölpflanzen. Kompetenz und Verbindlichkeit bestimmen unser Handeln, das auf einem partnerschaftlichem Grundverständnis basiert. Als Sprachrohr ist es das Ziel von OVID, zu einer aktiven, kontinuierlichen und positiven Präsenz der Ölmühlen-Branche in der Öffentlichkeit beizutragen.
