The Ralph Wilson Park Conservancy is the not-for-profit organization created to work in partnership with the City of Buffalo to operate, maintain, and promote the public use of Ralph Wilson Park, a 100-acre park located on the shoreline of Lake Erie within the City of Buffalo. Established in 2021, the Conservancy is committed to reflecting the priorities laid out through the Imagine LaSalle public engagement process and establishing the framework by which the park will operate and maintain, with a continued focus on input from the community it serves. The Conservancy will work closely with the local community and the City of Buffalo Parks Department, taking on responsibilities such as enhanced park maintenance, non-structural improvements, turf maintenance, horticulture, furnishing, events and programming, concessions, marketing, and branding.

Thimble.io teaches kids (ages 10+) engineering and programming through a subscription kit service and an online learning portal with easy-to-follow tutorials. Kits include hands-on projects that follow a guided curriculum aligned with NGSS and Common Core standards. Students learn to build robots, weather stations, alarm clocks, and other devices from start to finish. They also acquire skills taught in high school and college-level engineering and computer science courses. We make STEM subjects less intimidating for teachers that are looking to inspire their students with fun and relevant activities. We have a New York state-wide contract through BOCES and also have a partnership with the Smithsonian. Our vision: to revolutionize the future of work by sparking the next generation of engineers and technologists. The company entered the golf ball industry through development of the first-ever commercially available USGA-conforming hollow metal core ball. The company has since developed a growing suite of differentiated products distributed worldwide that now includes the five-star-rated low-compression AVANT and the top-performing ELIXR tour ball. OnCore Golf was formed by two young entrepreneurs - Bret Blakely and Steve Coulton – who thought that making the game of golf more enjoyable through innovative products like a hollow metal core golf ball was a great idea! OnCore was the first venture for both of them, but they had a great network of advisors and supporters, including a world class advanced materials engineer (Doug DuFaux), an experienced venture investor and technology company founder (Keith Blakely), and several others who provided financial, legal, and marketing assistance. After the first few years of product development, customer feedback, and performance optimization, industry notables and investment leaders from around the country joined Team OnCore! OnCore’s mission is to infuse fun and enjoyment into an amazing sport, while continuing to introduce game changing technology and products that remain within the Rules of golf.
