The Leuven brewery began in 2010, but the story of passion and dedication for craft beers began well before that. This preparation was a school made at home took more than 20 years of study to get the formulas that you find today. Alexandre Godoy, founder of the brewery, produces beverages following the traditional recipes of his great-grandfather, Octavio Teixeira Mendes, since 1980. From there, Alexander never stopped studying and devote the fermentation processes. He graduated as an agricultural engineer, a masters degree in brewery processes area and distillation in Edinburgh, Scotland, and allied professional knowledge to homebrewer experience to make one Leuven Top Premium beer. This story shows some of our passion for beer and guarantees you a top quality, present in each of our bottles.
