We look for water companies that are ready to scale commercially to invest between 1-5M euros for a first ticket. We have a global investment scope with our head office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Our fund combines strong entrepreneurial experience, a proven track record in driving sales and a vast network in the global water technology market to create a unique value proposition for our investors and portfolio companies alike. PureTerra Ventures has access to the largest network of distributors, utilities, government departments, blue chip companies and other key players in the Chinese water market. We leverage this network to actively contribute to the commercial success of our portfolio companies. We are not just as a financial investor, but a strategic partner in the global water market.

Onze oorsprong ligt in het beleggen voor a.s.r.-klanten. We beleggen zodat de verzekeraar haar werk kan doen. Zo wordt er uitgekeerd bij schade of is er maandelijks inkomen bij pensioen. En dat doen wij al sinds 1720. Zo hebben wij onze sporen verdiend. Wellicht lopen we zo wat kortetermijnrendement mis. Het zij zo. Duurzaam: dat is onze focus. Wij geloven dat financieel en maatschappelijk rendement hand in hand gaan. En wat wij vandaag doen, heeft op de lange termijn resultaat. Als vermogensbeheerder werken wij elke dag aan een verantwoord rendement. We bewaken het vermogen van verzekeraars en pensioenfondsen en talloze andere bedrijven. Onze klanten kunnen bij ons duurzaam beleggen. Dit vermogen beleggen wij in duurzame projecten.

Between July 2010 and March 2012 we rode our bamboo bicycles from the Arctic Circle down to the Antarctic Circle; roughly 30,000 kilometers across tundra, mountains, forests, and deserts, through megacities and jungles, during a 20-month period, to raise actionable attention to some of the world’s water and sustainable development issues. Our efforts then continued, across 2012 to 2015, by reaching out to primary schools worldwide in order to leverage hard earned lessons on leadership, friendship, teamwork, endurance, and adventure to inspire action within the next generation. We were linking primary school students with a local water project in a different part of the world, empowering them to organize and make a positive impact, while having fun cycling. In 2015, the torch was passed on to the next duo of adventuring Ambassadors, who kicked off their own Cycle for Water; roughly 25,000 kilometers from France to New Zealand, from July 2015 to October 2016. Our initiative inspired the inception and production of the Godrej Bambusa bamboo bicycle, including its 4,400 kilometer test ride across the entire length of India in 2017. The third iteration of Cycle for Water then involved a team of four cyclists reversing the route of the previous edition, from November 2022 to March 2024.
