The Garage brings together bright minds from across all corners of campus, creating a lively culture and community – diverse, welcoming, and wildly experimental. The 11,000 square foot space, carved out of the North Campus parking structure, has been home to more than 1,000 student-founded startups and projects.

The Carolina Angel Network (CAN) brings together the UNC entrepreneurial community and the UNC alumni network to empower the early-stage new businesses that drive our future. Our mission is to support the UNC startup community with funding and advice from experienced alumni who are members of the network.
We invest in companies in which a founder, executive, or board chair is a UNC alumnus, faculty member, staff member, student, or parent.
