RheaVita invents, develops and sells the technology for continuously freeze drying pharmaceutical products in vials and pre-filled syringes. This innovation is driven by a scientific approach. Therefore strong ties exist between RheaVita and Ghent University and PhD projects are jointly executed. In order to introduce our technology in the pharmaceutical field, our scientific progress is regularly presented in conferences and workshops through organizations such as ISL-FD, PDA and CPPR. The research activities result in numerous publications. Additionally, we execute head-to-head comparison feasibility studies to challenge our technology compared to currently established methods. We have created two prototypes, which are operational and used for the feasibility tests as mentioned above.
