CMoo Systems startup company had developed a disruptive technology to simplify the way to control and monitor residential homes, utilizing existing infrastructure (no-new-wires), at affordable cost and easy installation.
Electrical wiring standards worldwide never anticipated the requirements of home automation solutions that need to use standard light switches. These solutions need power which can only be provided with the neutral wire which is not present in a significant percentage of homes. Manufacturers have addressed the problem by using batteries, asking to rewire, reducing the performance and in effect cut themselves from a substantial market potential.
