For over a decade the global tech community has experienced exponential year-over-year growth. The rapid growth has attracted more investment, talent and opportunities. The workplace, how it evolves and keeps pace with business growth has been top-of-mind for many leaders. In fact, it’s more important now than ever before, and it’s a constant struggle. While ping pong tables, sleeping pods and free beer Fridays are fun perks they do NOT drive employee engagement and a sense of belonging among employees. The modern employee is motivated and engaged by connecting to a higher purpose, receiving continuous feedback, flexible work, opportunities to grow their skills and careers, work in diverse teams, and work with amazing leaders. Employee engagement is simply smart business. We are partnering with Toronto start-up HeartbeatAI.com to measure and benchmark employee sentiment and sense of belonging in SMB tech companies (30-300 employees). Upon initial launch in early 2018 we will be focusing on the Toronto tech community with plans to roll out in other major cities throughout North America By participating you will gain invaluable insights into how your employees are feeling, and compare and benchmark your results to the industry. These insights will be provided in real-time using Heartbeat’s AI-powered platform. Our goal for 2018 is to have 20-25 companies participating in the pilot.
