Vision To Learn is the largest school-based vision care nonprofit in the country. VTL exists to address one basic premise – if you can’t see, you can’t learn. Vision To Learn provides free eye exams and free glasses to students in underserved communities to help them succeed in school and in life. See visiontolearn.org for current opportunities to make a difference in your community.
Vision To Learn solves a problem affecting as many as 1.5 million children nationwide who lack the glasses they need to see the board, read a book, study math or participate in class. Kids in low-income communities and minorities are disproportionately affected.
The problem is one of access as most of the kids, for a host of reasons, do not get to a doctor. Vision To Learn solves the problem by bringing the clinic to the kids at schools and community organizations and providing eye exams and glasses free of charge. Vision To Learn has accomplished a great deal since it was started in 2012 in Los Angeles and plans to use that experience to serve as a model for the rest of the nation.

We are committed to enhancing a persons quality of life by restoring or improving vision through cornea transplantation, medical research, and education. Since 1957, AltruVision has helped coordinate nearly 50,000 transplant surgeries.
There is no substitute for human tissue. The transplantation process depends on the selfless gift of cornea donation from one human to another. 97% of all cornea transplant operations are successful. Connect with us to learn more!

HealthTech Capital is a group of private investors dedicated to funding and mentoring new “HealthTech” start ups at the intersection of healthcare and the computer/consumer electronic world.
Our goal is to invest and mentor capital efficient companies that use new scalable business model to improve the efficiency of healthcare delivery from the hospital to the home.
HealthTech is now an exploding healthcare market that leverages information technologies to decrease healthcare cost. Historically, venture funding has focused on “Efficacy” (therapeutics drugs and medical devices) and paid little attention to improving “Efficiencies” of healthcare delivery. Today, new paradigm shifting companies like Google, Microsoft, Intel, Apple, Amazon and others are turning their attention to HealthTech.
HealthTech supports patient-centric healthcare and is distinct from Healthcare IT, enterprise backbone legacy information systems that are well served by existing major players. Our goal is to invest in capital efficient companies that use new business models to improve the efficiency of healthcare delivery.
